TELEHEALTH (TELEPSYCHIATRY) OFFERS OUR PATIENTS TO REMAIN COMPLIANT WITH THEIR HEALTHCARE VISITS AND GET THE HELP THEY NEED WHEN THEY NEED IT.

Telemedicine is the process of providing health care from a distance through technology, using videoconferencing. Telepsychiatry, a subset of telemedicine, can involve providing a range of services including psychiatric evaluations, therapy, patient education, and medication management. Telemedicine overall, also helps to:

• Brings care to the patient's location
• Reduces the barrier of stigma
• Reduces emergency room visits
• Eliminates transportation barriers

There is substantial evidence that discusses the effectiveness of telepsychiatry. Research has found satisfaction to be high among patients and psychiatrists. Telepsychiatry is equivalent to in-person care in treatment effectiveness, quality of care and patient satisfaction. Patient privacy and confidentiality are equivalent to in-person care.
